Description

Some have described me as the greatest who ever did it (or did not do it). However being an undoubtedly humble man I would never describe myself this way.

It is important to note that I am not merely humble, but I am in fact, surely, the most modest man that ever lived and is ever likely to live. I consistently exhibit moderation, patience and temperance in my dealings with humans.

Furthermore, everyday as I interact with the world my humility increases exponentially. I am humbled by the Wonders of Nature: The Rising Sun, the Spherical Perfection of the Moon, The Lamposts on the M4 and even The fortitude of stray cats, fills me with boundless humility.

Finally, I would like to add that boasting about your humility does in no way negate it (as in this case). The assertion of modesty displayed here is not to be taken literally, but is simply the expression of an ideal or standard that every person should aspire to.

One should be humble yet extremely determined.

In a world of insurmountable difficulties and eternal conflict one must first resolve one's mind to struggle violently and relentlessly for 10,000 years against the forces of inevitability.

Not 1,000 or 5,000 but 10,000 years is the correct number to attain the desired frame of mind to transcend any frustration or despair and the associated dangers of these emotions. In this way one is able to challenge fate and eventually produce a revolutionary transformation of circumstances in one's life.

To struggle 10,000 years for one inch of progress is to bend the entire universe to your will.
